　　自出生起就被双亲遗弃的波特兰少女Lux，在她16岁生日到来之际，终于结束了辗转于各寄养家庭的生活。她找到了自己的生父 Nate Bazile，并惊闻自己的生母是当地电台热门节目的主持人Cate Cassidy。命运的安排使得三人又走到了一起，法官裁定Lux将交给 Baze和Cate共同抚养，从而补偿Lux从未得到过的家庭温暖。
